These are some stills from “The Adventures of Pow Wow the Indian Boy,” a cartoon from the fifties. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Couldn’t they have given Pow Wow a more historically accurate, cooler outfit? What is this one-feather thing? But Pow Wow the Indian Boy is not here for his fashion sense. In fact, he’s only here because I came across the show researching “Pow Wow” from Soulsonic Force (see elaborate headdress below).
